Common questions

Drop in the client's email, PDFs, Word documents, drawings, or photos and The Proposal Maker reads all of it. It surfaces the project type, location, contacts, scope, and fee expectations as editable fields, and you review every one of them before generation begins. Nothing is assumed.

PDF, Word (.docx), email files (.eml or .msg, attachments included), images and photos (HEIC works), and plain text. You can also skip files entirely: paste the client's email into the intake box, or just type a one-line description of the job.

The Proposal Maker indexes every proposal in your library and retrieves the ones closest to the new inquiry using AI similarity search. The matches guide tone, structure, and fee framing so the draft reads like your firm wrote it. They are reference material only; nothing is copied verbatim.

No. Every firm's data is isolated with row-level security enforced at the database level, not just in application code. Your proposals are never used to train AI models and never surfaced to any other account.

Yes. Every section is editable inline before you send. The share link, PDF, and Word file always reflect exactly what you see on screen.

A branded document with your logo, firm details, and standard terms. Send it three ways: a live share link your client opens in the browser, a PDF, or a Word (.docx) file that opens cleanly in Word and Google Docs.

Pick a plan, enter a card, and the first 30 days are free — up to 10 proposals, with every feature unlocked. Nothing is charged until day 30. Cancel before then in one click from Settings and you pay nothing. If you run through the 10 proposals early, you can start the plan straight away rather than waiting the trial out.

It keeps the trial genuinely useful. Every proposal runs real AI work against your own documents, so a card on file means we can give evaluating firms 10 full proposals instead of a token one or two. You are not charged during the trial, and cancelling takes one click.

Monthly subscription through Stripe: $200 or $500 a month after the trial. Your proposal quota resets each billing cycle, and hitting the cap blocks generation rather than billing overages; you are prompted to upgrade instead of being surprised on an invoice.

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from Settings. Invoices, payment methods, and cancellation are handled in the Stripe billing portal, one click from the same page.

Cancel during the trial and you are never charged; cancel later and your plan stays active through the end of the paid period. Either way your proposals remain in your account so you can still view and download them. If you want your data gone, contact support and we will delete the account entirely.
